A next-generation architecture for Google Algorithm!

It has been almost a year since Google caffeine was being lunched according to Google official blog it was being the first step in a process that will let Google to push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions.

It seems that Google is ready to go live on its data centers base of completion of a new web indexing system which is called Caffeine since Google officially announced on 6/08/2010 after almost a year of testing of all aspects of its new indexing and the other dimensions for its new search engine indexing system.

It is being developed with more accuracy Caffeine provides 50 percent fresher results for web searches than Google last index, and it’s the largest collection of web content Google has ever offered. Whether it’s a news story, a blog or a forum post, you can now find links to relevant content much sooner after it is published than was possible ever before. That is sound a good promising by Google!

Lets take a close look How Google Caffeine Update works and what is the major differences between the old indexing system and the new one?

Looking to the old index system there were several layers, some layers were refreshed at a faster rate than others; the main layer would update every couple of weeks. To refresh a layer of the old index, later Google analyze the entire web, which meant there was a significant delay between when Google found a page and made it available to people .

With regards to new indexing system at the first glance it appears that caffeine is being developed to analyze the web in small portions and update its search index on a continuous basis, globally. According to Google every second Caffeine processes hundreds of thousands of pages in parallel. it was being built with the future in mind !! it is being designed to build an even faster and comprehensive search engine that scales with the growth of information online, and delivers even more relevant search results to you. So stay tuned, and look for more improvements in the months to come.

How would the new Google indexing system effects the current SERP and the Google’s heart of calculation system which is called page rank is what we are going to view soon!
